Becky Ruby-Wojtowicz, floral designer
lilly lane owner/designer Becky previously worked as a fundraiser and event planner in the nonprofit industry following her graduation from Butler University. Since founding lilly lane in 2008, Becky has found her passion in the art of creating fabulous flowers and is absolutely in love with “the job I never knew I was always meant to do.”
Becky is an adjunct instructor in the Arts Administration program at Butler University and has previously served on the Butler University Young Alumni Board, the founding Wish Upon A Wedding Indianapolis Board and ISES Indianapolis Board of Directors. She probably spends too much time on Facebook and loses her car keys at least once a day. She is married to Justin with whom she shares a rescue pup and one kiddo.
Rachel Doyel, event designer
Rachel Doyel has been with lilly lane for nearly its entire existence after meeting Becky while collaborating with lilly lane on a wedding in June of 2009 (during which she displayed her signature effortlessly organized nature). During her time with lilly lane, Rachel has worked on countless weddings, including two nominated for ISES “PACE” awards in 2011. Wife to Chuck and mom to an adorable daughter, Rachel definitely hones her planning skills on the home front as well!
Meet Shane: Shane Finley has served as an assistant Event Designer since 2014. Being Rachel’s younger brother, Shane is extremely adept at assisting Rachel through their patent-pending sibling telepathy, and as a team, allows our clients unparalleled service by providing oversight in multiple venues at the same time. Shane’s extreme organization, attention to detail and calm demeanor are no doubt the result of his education background!
Meet “The Lillies”-
We couldn’t do it without the assistance of several wonderful behind-the-scenes staff members!
Christy S. will join the team in June of 2016 as one of our weekday “logistics” employees, helping with event prep and the occasional Saturday setup. She is a wife and mama in Midtown Indianapolis!
Tahnea L. will join the team in April of 2016 as one of our weekday workers, keeping our studio and offices cleaned up and ready to go every week. Tahnea and Becky formerly worked together at Butler University’s Challenge Course and Tahnea’s calm nature at 50 feet in the air is sure to be a calming force during crazy wedding weeks at the office!
Lisa S. will join the Saturday Setup team in June of 2016. A Butler grad, wife, mama and preschool teacher, her past experience in events makes her an ideal candidate for coordinating setup details!
Maire G. will join the Saturday Setup team in June of 2016. A full-time employee at one of our favorite weekend wedding venues, Maire’s experience with events (and friendship with some of our other staff members!) will be a great asset to the team!
Elise S. joined lilly lane in the summer of 2011 after a chance Facebook posting reunited her with fellow Butler graduate Becky. Her natural creativity is apparent not only in her floral designs, but in her wardrobe, cooking, home, and general style. Elise has previously worked as a designer with lilly lane, but thanks to an awesome promotion at her “day job,” is currently working weekends in her off-season.
Sarah H. started in 2011 with lilly lane, worked throughout her time at Butler University and continues to help with weekend event set-ups now that she’s working full time in event planning!
Esther F. joined the lilly lane staff in 2014 after her graduation from Butler University. Esther works behind the scenes on the administrative side, and most commonly interacts with local photographers to help bring their stunning photos to our gallery!
